We provide cleaning services for:

  • South Tyneside - Hebburn, Jarrow, Washington and Springwell Village

Is a long-term contract required for service?

Absolutely not. Our services are provided as needed to suit your busy lifestyle. There are no long-term contracts or obligations required. Cancel anytime, without penalty.

Are you insured?

Yes. Community Assistance and our employees are fully insured with £1m public liability insurance to protect your home and to give you peace of mind.

What will it cost to have my home cleaned?

Our residential (home) cleaning cost is £12.50 per hour.

What is included in your cleaning service?

Do you provide the cleaning supplies?

Yes. We provide all the supplies we need to clean your property. It's included in our low cost.

How long have you been cleaning homes?

We have been providing professional cleaning services since 2017 as Community Assistance. Caroline, Community Assistance's Owner, has been cleaning for over 35 years. The rest of the team have a wealth of experience.

Will I have the same cleaning person each visit?

Yes. You will have the same member(s) of staff each visit. We know how important it is to have those you know and trust cleaning your home.

However, from time to time, we may need to change your cleaner. For example, this could be to cover holiday leave. We will always inform you of said changes.



Do I need to be home the day of cleaning?

Some customers prefer scheduling cleaning appointments while they are at work or away for the day, while others like to be at home during the process. This is up to you. Regardless of your schedule, you are certain to receive our outstanding service - guaranteed!

Can I skip or reschedule an appointment?

Certainly. We appreciate the need to be flexible. Should you wish to cancel, we do not charge a cancellation fee however we ask you provide us with as much notice as practically possible.

How will you enter my home on my scheduled day(s) of cleaning?

We leave this up to you, whatever you feel most comfortable with. There are a few options:

  1. You may be at home the day of the clean
  2. You may give us a key
  3. You may leave the key in a secret location on the day of the clean

What if I am not satisfied with my cleaning?

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your cleaning. Please call the office on 0191 486 2364 so we can look to resolve this for you at your early convenience.

Do you offer house cleaning gift certificates?

Yes. You can purchase a cleaning gift certificate for just about any occasion. Please get in touch so we can discuss your needs in more detail.

How and when do I pay for my cleaning services?

We require payment at the time of service. This can either be with Cash, BACS or via Direct Debit.

We process Direct Debit payments via our processor GoCardless.
